Eid al-Adha is a religious moment full of blessings. On this occasion, The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center, which is a 4 star hotel located on Jalan Palagan Tentara Pelajar KM.7 Yogyakarta, participated in donating sacrificial animals.

This activity is an annual social activity agenda which is always held during Eid al-Adha. This year, as thanks for all the blessings, The Alana Yogyakarta donated one cow as a sacrificial animal.

The slaughter of sacrificial animals was held on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 02.00 in the morning at Pak Idun Cattle Farm located in Pajangan District, Bantul Regency, DIY. The slaughter took place smoothly and was witnessed by representatives of The Alana Yogyakarta management. The sacrificial meat was then distributed to the disabled community, the Sinar Melati Orphanage, local residents and all employees of The Alana Yogyakarta. 
Previously, as part of the Eid al-Adha holiday on Monday 17 June 2024, Eid al-Adha prayers were also held at the Mataram City Mosque which is located in the same area as The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center. This activity was attended by hotel guests and employees, and residents of the Mataram City Yogyakarta apartment. 

Mrs. Mira Kiranasasi as General Manager of The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center said that the moment of Eid al-Adha is very appropriate as an expression of gratitude for the blessings received. Therefore, by donating sacrificial animals, the hope is that it can also be a blessing for people in need.
