Solo, July 6th, 2024 – The Alana Hotel & Convention Center Solo proudly hosted the "Gen Z Seminar: A Future Hotelier" as part of the series of events leading up to The Alana Solo’s 9th anniversary celebration. The event took place on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Arcadia Ballroom, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, attended by over 150 participants representing vocational high schools, hospitality training institutions, and several universities across Solo Raya.

This Gen Z Seminar was particularly special as it featured several speakers sharing their experiences in the hospitality industry, tips and tricks for entering the hotel industry, and insights on the mental health of today’s Gen Z youth. The speakers included Yesa and Hanif, Gen Z representatives currently working at The Alana Solo, Ella Ardani, Human Resource Manager at The Alana Solo, Subhan Sahbana, General Manager at The Alana Solo, and Astrid Puspitasari, M.Psi, a psychologist from Indriyati Hospital.

In addition to the insightful and inspirational seminar, the event was enlivened by a modern Sintren dance performance from LBK Erawati, blending traditional art with contemporary touches. Moreover, various games and exciting challenges with attractive prizes added to the festive atmosphere of the event.

One of the key moments of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Alana Solo and 30 schools, universities, and educational institutions. This collaboration aims to strengthen relationships and open further opportunities for cooperation in education and career development.

Adding to the excitement, two anime mascots were present to bring cheer and entertainment to the participants, boosting the vibrant Gen Z seminar atmosphere. The event concluded with a social session and group photo, providing an opportunity for participants to interact and share stories. Moses Rahadian, Public Relations of The Alana Solo, stated that this event aimed not only to impart valuable knowledge and tips to the younger generation about industry developments but also to strengthen cooperation and foster goodwill with various parties collaborating with The Alana Solo.
