National Children's Day is a form of public appreciation for all children, and a form of motivation for children to become a generation that brings positive change to society.

This moment was celebrated at The Alana Yogyakarta, by holding an event that invited children to play, socialize and develop their creativity. The event entitled "Alanuts Decorating" was held on Saturday 20 July 2024 at Le Papito Coffee, Pastry & Eatery which is one of the outlets of The Alana Yogyakarta.

There was a lot of fun and creativity at this event, with 60 children participating. Starting at 10 am, children are invited to play together with mentors from Oddish Family Hub, then decorate "Alanuts" donuts guided by Chef Budi Wijaya as Executive Chef of The Alana Yogyakarta. After finishing decorating the donuts, the children were invited to tour the facilities at The Alana Yogyakarta hotel and the process of making bakpia at Bakpia Asatu. 

All participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in the entire series of activities at this event. Apart from being treated to an interesting event, participants also received prizes from The Alana Yogyakarta and several event supporters, namely kid meals from Le Papito, swimming vouchers from The Alana Yogyakarta, playing vouchers at Oddish Family Hub, and E-money from Bank Mandiri. 

Mrs. Mira Kiranasasi as General Manager of The Alana Yogyakarta stated that she was very happy to see the joy and enthusiasm of all the children who took part in this event. It is hoped that "Alanuts Decorating" can become a place for children to socialize and develop their creativity.
