Malang - August 28, 2024, The Alana Hotel Malang successfully held a blood donation social activity for the first time. This activity is part of a series of events for its first anniversary.

 

On this occasion, The Alana Hotel Malang collaborated with PMI Malang City. This activity was chosen because PMI Malang City is the main blood supply for 85 hospitals in the Greater Malang area. With the blood donation activity at the hotel, it is hoped that it can help maintain a safe bloodstock.

 

“This is the first blood donation for The Alana Hotel Malang. Hopefully, in the future it will become a routine hotel activity. From the target of 50 people, a total of 60 people attended. Not only from the general public, the staff and employees were also very enthusiastic. Given that this year we have all worked hard to become the newest hotel in Malang. So this is their moment to channel humanitarian action in the midst of their busy schedule.” said R. Blood donation is indeed a humanitarian activity. But it also has a myriad of benefits for the donor. These benefits include reducing cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke, and increasing the production of new erythrocytes (red blood cells).
