The Halloween Kids Cooking Class, hosted by The Alana Surabaya on October 20, 2024, was a resounding success filled with joy and excitement. Held at the hotel's poolside area on the 6th floor, the event was attended by dozens of enthusiastic children eager to learn to cook while soaking in the festive Halloween atmosphere.
With a colorful Halloween theme, the children took part in interactive cooking activities, where they learned to make unique and creative bento box creations. Each child received a special apron and a certificate as a memento of their participation. In addition to cooking, the kids also enjoyed a fun play session at the pool.
This event not only taught children valuable cooking skills but also provided an enriching experience to boost their creativity and teamwork. The participants and parents expressed positive feedback, appreciating the educational and enjoyable concept of the event. Exciting door prizes were also given to a few lucky participants, adding to the event's lively atmosphere.
“The Halloween Kids Cooking Class is part of our commitment to hosting events that are both fun and educational for families, especially children. We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the participants and hope this event will be a memorable experience for them,” said Sharfan, Marketing Communication Manager.
Additionally, one of the participant’s parents, Mrs. Dian, shared her thoughts: “My child truly enjoyed this event. She learned to cook while playing, and she was, of course, delighted to take home her own bento creation. Events like these are incredibly beneficial for nurturing children’s creativity.”
Following the success of the Halloween Kids Cooking Class, The Alana Surabaya plans to continue hosting more exciting events that provide positive experiences for families.
